This knife will cost you around $150 to $250 dollars. There are many limitations that make the value of the knife not worth the price tag. As a collector’s item, though, it is definitely worth paying the price.

Specs
The blade length is 9½" with an overall knife length of 15". The blade metal is exclusive 0170-6C high-carbon steel with a coating of black epoxy. It is a fixed blade knife. The handle material is fiberglass-reinforced nylon. The sheath is Kydex which is known for its durability; it also has numerous attachment holes along with webbing straps and buckles for wearing on the thigh. The handle has a lanyard hole. The knife weighs 22 ounces.

First Impressions
It has a bevel line down the center and the very thick steel blade has been grinded for its weight-forward design. It does not seem to be a good design for chopping which would require more weight towards the back of the blade. The blade grind doesn’t lend itself to being very sharp, and the recurve may make it difficult for sharpening. The handle is large and hand-filling and also removable for replacing or cleaning; it does not have any texture which may be a problem.

Performance Review
This knife is missing several of the key features that make a good survival and hunting knife. It has a weight forward design which gives it a dagger-like center of gravity. There is a dedicated anvil, but it’s quite small and not really great for hammering which is its intended use. The handle has no texture and this type of handle material becomes slippery and hard to manage in wet conditions. I would not purchase this knife as a hunting and survival knife.
